Job Seekers Support Group
Every Wednesday, the team meets from 10 a.m. until noon in Room 202, Chapel Building. Jim Korth facilitates the team. Job teams have statistically helped people land their next jobs faster than those who search on their own. It is critical that members commit to come weekly as it is the cohesiveness of the group that makes it effective. Meetings consist of sharing successes, job tips that have been helpful in the Charlotte market and barriers that are impeding the job search.

A team provides receptions following memorial services and funerals, including set-up, clean-up, beverages and food.

SMPC sends handwritten care cards to everyone who appears on the prayer chain.

College Care Packages
Throughout the school year, we like to keep in touch with our college-age students and let them know that we are thinking about them.
Contact: Lisa Richardson. firstname.lastname@example.org
Organizational help also needed: Supply shoppers (receipts reimbursable), assembly help, mailing help.
We would greatly appreciate any $10 - $15 donations to offset the cost of the care packages.
