Job Seekers
The Job Seekers group has started a Job Search team. Every Thursday, the team meets from 10 a.m. until noon, Room 202, Chapel Building. Gwen Ferguson is facilitating the team. Job teams have statistically helped people land their next jobs 15% to 20% faster than those who go it on their own. It is critical that members commit to come weekly as it is the cohesiveness of the group that makes it effective. Meetings consist of sharing successes, job tips that have been helpful and barriers that are impeding the job search. The barriers become the agenda of the day. If you are interested in joining the team or want further more information about these job teams, please call Gwen Ferguson at 704-496-4652.
