Giving to the church through our Automated Draft Program or online via MySMPC is secure and easy!

Automated Draft Program

With the Automated Draft Program, drafts are made from your bank account by the church office. You let the church office know how much to draft and on what date (the 1st or 15th of the month), and we do the rest. You can stop the service at any time.

To start the service, download this form and return it to the church with a voided blank check.

MySMPC and Online Giving

To contribute online via MySMPC:

Login to MySMPC

On the blue toolbar across the top of your Home page, click Giving > Give Now

Enter the amount of your gift (you will be asked later to designate a fund to which to apply the gift), the frequency of your gift (one time or recurring), and the date of your gift

Click continue

Designate to which fund or funds your gift should be applied. Funds listed are: Operating Fund

Sanctuary Fund; Haiti child sponsorship; Other

Examples of “Other” gifts are Ten Cents a Meal, Center of Hope, One Great Hour of Sharing

Continue as prompted. You will be asked to add a payment method (that you can choose to save or not save). You can pay with your bank account information or a credit card. You will receive a receipt of your transaction.

Online Giving Frequently Asked Questions

How secure is my financial information?

The confidentiality of your data is our utmost priority. Our software provider is ACS Technologies, the largest developer of church management software in the industry. ACS has a secured Website that we access which is housed in a secured data center and is subject to periodic security audits to ensure safety and privacy of your data. The server is tested daily to make sure that it is safe from hackers and is protected by 128-bit encryption.

How much does this service cost the church?

Payment via your bank account is less costly than paying via credit card. A close estimate is that fees associated with payment via bank account are approximately $0.75 per transaction, and fees associated with payment via credit card are 2 % of the amount of the transaction.

Which should I use: the Automated Draft program or Online Giving via MySMPC?

This is completely up to you! Because we have a very kind bank (CommunityOne), we are not charged for fees associated with the Automated Draft Program. This is a very nice benefit. Another benefit is you only have to tell the church when to start and stop your draft – the church does the rest. A benefit to using MySMPC is that you are in control of your account—you can start, stop and edit your contribution amounts without having to contact the church office.
