Habitat Critical Home Repair (HCHR)
The Habitat for Humanity Charlotte Critical Home Repair program (HCHR) provides crucial repair services for homeowners who could not otherwise afford it. HCHR specializes in correcting structural hazards, dramatically improving quality of life for their clients. Doing this prevents houses from being condemned and potentially razed. Our commitment is an occasional weekend; also, volunteers are needed on Wednesdays and Thursdays. HCHR provides materials, power tools, and site supervision. We provide small items such as our own gloves, hammers, and tape measures.
