As a visitor, will I need to do anything special?

No. Guests often like to check out SMPC without making a big splash. The church does not ask for anyone to identify themselves. SMPC won't contact you unless you would like to share your information.

    What should I wear?

SMPC is by no means a dressy church. Men wear everything from jackets and ties to slacks and sports shirts. Women wear everything from dresses to slacks and casual shirts.

    What about children?

SMPC provides secure, nurturing care for children during all worship services. Rooms for infant, toddler, two-year old, three-year old, four-year old, and kindergarten children are staffed with professional nursery personnel and parent disciples. All paid nursery staff have completed SMPC Children, Youth, Volunteers and Staff Protection Policy training.

What if I'm ready to join?

SMPC offers a quarterly Inquirer's Class to guests who want to learn more about the Presbyterian faith. The class is led by Pastor Matt Brown and Nancy Metzler, Director of Hospitality and Connection. It's a great way to get connected to the life of the church!
