SMPC invites our community into a depth of knowledge about God and relationship with God through study, prayer, worship, and meaningful connection with peers across generations. One of the ways we do this is through adult studies and groups.

The ongoing groups listed below are always open to new members, and we often have short-term studies as well. Our Director of Spiritual Formation would be delighted to have a conversation to help you discover what group might fit you best!

SUNDAY MORNING CLASSES

HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE
SUNDAYS BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 8 - 9:00AM

You hear people talk about the importance of reading the Bible in context but aren’t sure exactly what that means. You have friends with journals filled with Bible reflection but have no idea how to start. You know that there are resources online but aren’t sure which ones are reliable. You’re interested in knowing more about the Bible but are intimidated to join a study because you think everyone will know more than you. If any of these sentences sound familiar, then How to Study the Bible is for you! Melissa White and Rebecca Guzman will lead a 4-session class on Sundays at 9 am in the McQueen Room starting September 8th. The only thing you’ll need is a Bible, and if you want help deciding which one to get, we’ve got you covered. Please register on Realm. Contact: Rebecca Guzman, [email protected].
