SMPC Preschool Director Carol Watkins supports parents, staff, and students as they grow and learn at preschool. She leads our preschool with a gentle spirit, passion for education, and unwavering dedication to the youngest members of our community.

Carol received a degree in economics from the University of Wales and a Master of Education from Cambridge University.

Carol is originally from Bristol, UK, and has called Charlotte home for more than 25 years. She and her husband, Rob, have two grown daughters, Sophie and Caitlin. The couple loves to explore the various hiking trails in the North Carolina mountains.
