- Listen to Homeplace by Anne Shelby, starting at the 3:10 mark in this video. Through this story we are encouraged to see our own faith as part of a much larger story. In Homeplace, a grandmother shares how a home was built piece by piece by those who came before. Our life in the church is similar. Through the stories of biblical patriarchs and matriarchs, people in the early church, and beloved saints in our own congregation, we see how our spiritual home has been built on the common foundation we share in Christ. - Listen to For All the Saints and either sing along or quietly reflect. As you do, think about who your faith heroes and heroines are and what the song reveals about our scripture today.
- Game: Sit in a circle and pass a ball around. When you receive it, say the name of someone who has helped you in your faith. Keep the ball moving and see how many people we can name.

- What do you imagine it means to run with perseverance the race set before us
- How can we be part of the story for future generations of the church
