Scripture: Ephesians 5:15-20

1. This scripture reminds me of a song that we sang in church when I was a child, O Be Careful Little Eyes. Sing along with this version that includes the lyrics. What does this mean? Why should we be careful about what we see, what we say, and what we hear?
2. Trace and cut out your foot several times, at least 4. On the feet cutouts, write, “I Will Follow Jesus!” Tape them down and then walk on top of them. As you walk, think about what it means to follow Jesus’ example.
3. Listen to a readaloud of When God Made Light by Matthew Paul Turner. When we imitate Jesus, we become like the light of God. What does it mean to be a child of light?
4. Journal, considering the following:
   1. How do you decide whether something is wise or not?
   2. What does it look like in your life to imitate Jesus?
   3. If you were to write your younger self “a word to the wise” from Jesus, what would it say?
