March BYG (Big Youth Group)

BYG meets once a month during the school year and brings our youth together for faith, fun, small groups, good food, and great community.

This year, BYG follows our Stewardship theme, “Called to Community,” based on 1 John 4:7. For March, we’re excited to host Spotlight on Sandy: Ask the Pastor Night. This will provide SMPC Youth a special chance and opportunity to get to know our new Transitional Pastor, hear some of his stories, and ask any questions they’d like.

We’ll take a brief look at two short scriptures that shape how we live together in faith:

• Micah 6:8 — “What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with your God?”
• Hebrews 10:24 — “Let us consider how to inspire one another to love and good deeds.”

These simple verses remind us that community grows when we practice kindness, humility, encouragement, and love. Most of our time will be spent connecting with Sandy, learning from his journey, and exploring what it means to follow Christ together as a community.
