Mary Katheryne Zagora, financial administrator and office manager, maintains the church’s bookkeeping and ensures the office is running smoothly. She says one of the best parts of her job is sitting in the front office and greeting everyone that comes in, but we consider ourselves to be the lucky ones because it’s Mary Katheryne’s bright smile that greets us every day!

Mary Katheryne received a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy (BPA) from Mississippi State University. She’s a native of Mississippi but has lived in Charlotte so long that she calls it her hometown. She and her husband, Michael, have two college-age daughters who grew up at SMPC, Anna and Grace, and two dogs that sometimes hang out in her office, Bo and Bear. Mary Katheryne and  Michael are still getting used to life as empty nesters, but the couple loves to hike, travel, kayak on the Catawba River, and spend time with family.
