Youth Mission Project – Writing Letters to Haiti
April 21 @ 11:15 am - 12:30 pm
All SMPC Youth are invited and encouraged to attend our mission project directly following worship on Sunday, April 21st from 11:15 AM to 12:30 PM in Mecklenburg Hall where we will be writing letters to Haitian students. This will be the youth group activity for April 21st. There will be NO evening activity. Lunch will be provided!
For those of you that are not aware, SMPC has a close relationship with Haiti. SMPC supports Haiti through our work with Friends Empowering Haiti (previously Friends of OFCB) and Ewo (previously World of God).
Our support for Haiti includes financial donations for the school, medical clinic and special projects. SMPC members also have the opportunity to sponsor Haitian students. The students that we sponsor will receive a handwritten letter from an SMPC Youth so we really hope you will attend this mission event!
