Middle and high school youth, along with parents of children and youth, are invited to a special Mental Health Workshop led by Dr. Lisa DeVore on Sunday, September 13, from 5:00–6:30 p.m. Additional therapists include Robert Limkeman, MA, LMFT and Abigail Bates, LCSW, MSW.
This workshop will offer practical tools for understanding mental health, building resilience, and supporting healthy emotional and spiritual well-being.
Parents will gather with Dr. DeVore for guidance, resources, and encouragement as they support the mental health of children and teens. At the same time, middle and high school youth will participate in separate, age-appropriate sessions led by two therapists. These sessions will provide a safe and welcoming space for honest conversation, questions, and learning healthy coping skills. Youth will be divided into two groups by gender.
Elementary-age children are invited to participate in BAM, which will take place concurrently in the Palmer Building.
