Summary of Scripture Passage: This Scripture passage provides us with the good news that Christ is Risen!
The tomb is empty. Jesus lived, loved, and returned for us.

Pray:
Loving God, if we had been there that first Easter morning, it is likely that many of us would have been with the disciples— hiding out in fear and alone with our thoughts in the upper room. But, morning has broken and this morning is different because of you and your love for us. The darkness is gone! The tomb is empty. So again, and again we say— the longest night is over. Death has lost its sting.
Christ is Risen! Alleluia! Amen!
