February 10, 2026SMPC High Schoolers ‘Lock In’ on Their Faith on a Friday Night
Our high schoolers enjoyed a lock-in last Friday evening at the church. The theme of the retreat, “Lock In and Be Lifted,” helped remind our youth that they are always held, lifted and belong as children of God. It was a chance for them to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with each other. Thank you to all of our high schoolers who brought their energy, enthusiasm, love for God and each other and willingness to lock in on their faith on a Friday night. We are also so grateful to Rev. Lindsey Odom and parent chaperone Denise Davis for loving our youth more than they loved sleep that night! 🙂 We are incredibly lucky to be witnesses to what God is doing through our youth at SMPC.

SMPC Youth Leads Us in Beautiful Worship
What a blessing it was to be led in worship by our incredible youth community during Youth Sunday! The Youth Sunday theme, “Just as I am/Endlessly Enough,” rooted in 1 John 3:1–3, spoke to the truth that we are already God’s beloved children. We loved seeing our middle and high schoolers serving in all capacities on Sunday and are so grateful to those who brought donations to Nourish Up for Souper Bowl of Caring and to those who donated to the Youth Envelope Fundraiser! They collected 121 lbs of food and raised $219.50 for Nourish Up! They also raised $1,112 with the Youth Envelope Fundraiser, which helps fund their summer retreats. There is still time to participate in the Youth Envelope Fundraiser! Grab an envelope from the bulletin board in the narthex or donate online here. You can also still donate to Nourish Up here!

Celebrating SMPC’s History One Year at a Time
You might have noticed a tiny craft project in the narthex this past Sunday! We are celebrating our history in a fun way this month! All month long, you’ll have the opportunity to add SMPC milestones and memories to our timelines in the narthex. We start in 1991 and go up to 2025. We encourage you to reflect on times when your church has held significance in your life and capture them on the timeline. If you have been a ministry leader, on Session, a volunteer or a youth and remember a partnership forming or a faith-changing Bible study, make a note of it on the timeline! There is no “wrong answer,” and you can’t mess it up. Have fun, and let’s commemorate what we’ve built here on Bryant Farms Road!
