Vacation Bible School and Mission Possible at South Mecklenburg Presbyterian Church are always a blast!
Vacation Bible School - Snowball Mountain Challenge
Each summer, every space in the church is filled with children’s voices and excitement for a week of Vacation Bible School.
During this year's Vacation Bible School, kids will become Challengers, gearing up for frosty games, snowy surprises, and hands-on lessons about resilience and faith. Guided daily by Ollie the Arctic Seal, who is reporting on the events, Challengers aren’t just playing games; they learn to draw strength from their faith through powerful stories of courage and hope. With a unique winter theme and solid theology at its core, this VBS delivers joy and meaning in equal measure, teaching kids that "I can do all things through him who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13 NRSV).
During Snowball Mountain Challenge VBS, children ages 3-4th Grade will explore the Bible through play, art, science, and music.

Mission Possible
Mission Possible allows 5th and 6th graders to get out in the community and serve others!
Our Mission Possible program is for rising 5th and 6th graders and runs concurrently with Vacation Bible School. Mission Possible participants serve various organizations around Charlotte and take field trips off campus that allow them to experience firsthand the various needs in our community. This is also a great opportunity for team building, and it helps them transition from Children’s Ministry to Youth Group in 6th grade.
Mission Possible 2026 is Monday, July 20- Thursday, July 23, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
