Adult Advent Study: God’s Surprises for the Christmas Season
November 15 @ 11:15 am - 12:15 pm
The Christmas story is filled with surprises—unexpected news, changed plans, unlikely people, and God at work in ways no one could have predicted. This Advent, we’ll use Susan Robb’s God’s Surprises for the Christmas Season to consider how the surprises of the biblical story might help us recognize God’s presence in our own lives, especially when life doesn’t unfold the way we expected. We are offering the same study at two times so that more people can participate: 9:00 a.m. in the McQueen Room, led by Rebecca Guzman, and 11:15 a.m. in the Parlor, led by Kari Case, November 15–December 6. Come for thoughtful conversation, Scripture, and a meaningful way to prepare for Christmas.
