Hunger

In addition to our weekly and monthly service opportunities, we also have seasonal collections for Nourish Up.

Bag Lunches for Roof Above

Each month, we collect and donate 100 bagged lunches to Roof Above, an organization working to end homelessness in our city. This is a great activity to do with children or to gather with friends on a Friday night and make bags together before the Saturday drop-off. Sign up to donate. Contact: Julie Durham

Breakfast for Center of Hope

Each month, SMPC preps, cooks and serves breakfast for guests at the Salvation Army’s Center of Hope, a local women and children’s shelter. Sign up to serve or donate. Contact: Lee Martin

Desserts for Center of Hope

One Sunday a month, we deliver desserts for the women and children who temporarily call Salvation Army’s Center of Hope home. Homemade or store-bought donations are welcome! Sign up to donate. Contact: Terry Gaines
