Freedom School Partners just wrapped up another six weeks of changing the future for under-resourced students by giving them life-changing literacy skills. Terry Gaines, Ruby Robinson, and Mrna Dibble had the honor of reading at Harambee (pronounced ha-ram-bay) – an energizing morning celebration of reading – at Ashley Park Elementary School. Harambee is Kiswahilli for “let’s pull together.” C.N. Jenkins Presbyterian Church partners with this K-8th grade Freedom School site and SMPC friend Doris Boyd invites community members to serve as Harambee readers.

Pickleball, Popsicles and Pastors
How lucky are these two pastors?! Sandy Hull and Lindsey Odom got to play pickleball on Monday night with our awesome youth! The group enjoyed some fun competition and popsicles with an absolutely stunning sunset as a backdrop. God is good!
