SMPC Youth and Adults Help Deliver Meals Through Nourish Up
On Monday, several of our youth and adults served with Nourish Up’s Meals on Wheels, delivering meals to our neighbors in need. For some in our community, this is the only meal they receive all day. What a privilege it was to serve alongside each other!
Monday through Friday, Nourish Up delivers meals to more than 500 homebound individuals across 65+ routes throughout Mecklenburg County. Many of these meals are medically tailored to support chronic health conditions or special dietary needs. It’s not just a meal – it’s also a human connection! They are always looking for volunteers – find more on their website, nourishup.org.
