Welcome Home, SMPC College Students!
Some of our college students met up last Thursday for fun, fellowship and food. It was a beautiful evening of catching up and connecting! Thank you to the Hicks family for hosting, and thank you to all of our college students who came! We continue to hold you in prayer!

Congratulations, Class of 2026!
We came together as a church family to celebrate our high school and college graduates during Graduate Sunday on June 7! First up was a special breakfast for high schoolers before worship in Mecklenburg Hall. It was a wonderful opportunity to pause and reflect on the many gifts our students have given and received at SMPC! Thank you to all of our parents who donated items and coordinated the event – it was beautiful! Our high schoolers also treated us to a fun energizer before worship – something they learned at the Montreat High School Conference!
During worship, we heard reflections from four high school seniors, Lacey, Addison, Katie and Lily Claire. You can listen to them here.
Graduates, we continue to hold you in prayer as you transition to your next chapter! May you always remember SMPC as a place of love and friendship and come back often!

A Purr-fectly Sweet Ending
We did it! Thank you to everyone who completed a Congregational Assessment Tool (CAT) survey! As of our deadline last Friday, we received 420 completed surveys, which means we EXCEEDED our goal! We celebrated with delicious ice cream after worship on Sunday (thank you, Mission Study Task Force (MSTF)!).

We Really Do Love Ice Cream!
Speaking of ice cream, the SMPC Sun City group met for ice cream and fellowship last Friday at the SCCL Lodge pavilion. It was a perfect day! If you live in Sun City and would like to meet up with this group, please contact Debbie Stenvall.
