SMPC Director of Spiritual Formation Rebecca Guzman and SMPC members Joel Winchip and Melissa White spent last week in St. Louis at the Association of Partners in Christian Education Annual Event, “Come All Who Are Thirsty.” We look forward to reaping the benefits of all they learned through the many spiritual formation opportunities at SMPC this year!
BSA Troops 119 and 219 Scout For Food
On Sunday, January 28, members of BSA Troops 119 and 219 distributed red door hangers with information on next week’s Scouting for Food initiative. If you received a door hanger, simply fill a bag or box with non-perishable food items and leave it outside your home by 9:00 am for pick up on Saturday, February 3rd or bring to church during worship on Sunday, February 4. The SMPC parking lot is also where Troops 119 and 219, as well as other area troops, will load food on the trucks this weekend.

High Fives to the Helpers Who Will Scale New Heights for Us
Way “up” (no pun intended) on our gratitude list are the roofers who were at the church Monday to repair some damage that caused leaks in the narthex and sanctuary. Also noteworthy: a gorgeous blue sky amidst several rainy days this week!
