Sun + Lemonade = Perfection

Many thanks to Facilities Administrator Steve Stevenson for putting up the tent after worship on Sunday! It provided a nice shady spot for Lemonade on the Lawn and fellowship. And, thanks to our children worshipers who decorated our sidewalks with beautiful artwork and positive messages.  “You are a child of God” –  let’s have this one repeat and see how it changes how we live!

Work on Columbarium Begins

Members of Scout Troop Earn Music Merit Badge

Several members of a Scout troop (not affiliated with SMPC) earned their Music Merit Badge over the weekend with some instruction and lessons from SMPC Director of Music and Organist Zach Bowyer. “It filled my heart with joy to see the interest and enthusiasm the Scouts had for learning more about the organ and church music,” said Zach. “It was one of the highlights of my week.”

SMPC Preschoolers and SMPC Staff Member Hop Thei

Our SMPC Preschool students and Director of Spiritual Formation Rebecca hopped their hearts out yesterday in our SMPC Preschool Hop-a-thon! 

Rebecca completed 158 hops in 60 seconds all as a way to support SMPC Preschool! There’s still time to make a pledge, and we have the BEST idea! Rebecca turns 42 years young TODAY, and wouldn’t it be so fun to pledge $42 in her honor?! All the money raised goes towards our amazing SMPC Preschool.
