September 3, 2025SMPC Children Remind Us What Really Matters
What beautiful snapshots of Sunday morning worship! Our talented children wrote beautiful messages of hope and inclusivity, reminding us that Jesus INVITES ALL, Y’ALL! We are so glad the weather has been so good all week – what a joy it is to walk on campus and see these sweet reminders.

SMPC Preschoolers Back on Campus
We are so excited to welcome SMPC Preschoolers back on campus! The preschool hosted an open house last week and welcomed students for their first days of school this week. We pray for a wonderful year full of friendships, play, fun and learning! Thank you to our amazing preschool teachers and staff who make it all possible!
It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Chrismons…
A couple of Santa’s elves worked to organize and take inventory of our beautiful Chrismon ornaments on Wednesday morning. It’s never too early to prepare for one of our favorite times of year! Thank you, Kay Dano and Carol Morgan and thank you to the skilled handiworkers of all ages who create our Chrismon ornaments!
Scout Troop 119 Eagle Project at SMPC
This past weekend, Scout Troop 119’s Tarun S. completed his Eagle Scout project at SMPC, making improvements to the Palmer Building grounds. Tarun and his team built raised garden beds for the preschoolers to enjoy and added pavers to transform this corner of the property. While much of the congregation may never notice the updates, our littlest members of our community will benefit from the care and creativity that went into this project.
