Church Family Moment for Sunday, June 21, 2026
June 15, 2026SMPC Middle and High Schoolers Kick Off Summer!
Singing Our Way Into Summer
The new Adult Study, Songs of Summer, kicked off on Sunday, June 14, with great attendance. This eight-week study is led by SMPC members Curt and Gayle Ireland and explores familiar Presbyterian hymns and the fascinating stories behind them. Each week, the group will examine the history and meaning of a beloved hymn, connect it to Scripture, and share in thoughtful discussion about what these songs mean to us personally and spiritually. This past Sunday, the group discussed “It Is Well With My Soul.” Whether these hymns are lifelong favorites or brand new to you, all are welcome to enjoy conversation, reflection and music together this summer. Register here.

Keep Calm and Organize
Thank you to several of our youth – Jordan, Tuuli, and Harper Leigh—as well as parent Geena Woodard and Rev. Lindsey Odom for helping clean out and organize one of the closets in Mecklenburg Hall! Just looking at this makes us feel happier and calmer! 😊😊😊
