- Listen to a readaloud of What is God’s Name? by Sandy Eisenburg Sasso. Today is Trinity Sunday, when we pay special attention to the different ways that we experience God. In this book, each person gives God a different name based on their own understanding of God, and God is all of those names, but is somehow also one God!
- Print out a copy of this illustrated version of our first hymn. Sing it again—here’s a recording. What does the hymn reveal to us about who God is? What does the word “holy” mean?
- Do a dramatic reading of Psalm 29. Add sound effects! You can also check out this guided meditation on Psalm 29. Close your eyes and follow along.
- Journal, considering the following:
- What illustrations of the trinity have you seen? You might even google these and journal about your reactions to them.
- What does it mean to experience God in different ways?
- What does it mean to be a child of God?
