Electricians were on site last week installing new meters at the upper entrance in prerparation for our new campus signage!

Serving lemonade after worship on Sundays is a great chance for families to serve together! On Sunday, July 6, we had three generations from one family sharing their sunshine and light! Thank you to the Griffiths/Chorens! What a beautiful way to spend time together!

SMPC Scouts Soak Up Summer Adventure

It’s been a summer full of adventure, growth and unforgettable experiences for our Scouts Troops 119 and 219!

Earlier this season, 63 scouts and 9 adult leaders headed to Camp Raven Knob in Mount Airy, NC, where they spent a week building skills, deepening friendships and enjoying all the best parts of traditional summer camp life — from merit badge classes to campfires and outdoor challenges.

Meanwhile, a group of 6 scouts and 2 adults took things to the next level with a high-adventure experience at Sea Base in the Florida Keys.

We are so proud of these scouts and grateful for the adult leaders who made these trips possible. What a gift it is to see young people grow in confidence, leadership and faith through these adventures!
