Youth Make Over 1,000 Sandwiches for Roof Above
On Sunday, October 15th, SMPC Youth made 1,028 sandwiches for our neighbors at Roof Above. It was such a fun event, and we are so thankful for the opportunity to love and serve our neighbors in the community of Charlotte.
A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who donated sandwich materials, volunteered to help and delivered the sandwiches!
Children Create Everything Good with Handprints and Paint
Children who attended SMPC’s Parents’ Morning Out created artwork with their handprints that helped express “everything good” happening at SMPC. These beautiful canvases are displayed in the narthex throughout the month and will be hung in a permanent location soon. The children, ages three through 5th grade, also enjoyed crafts based on the stories from Jonah, a movie and snacks. A HUGE thank you goes to Director of Spiritual Formation Rebecca Guzman for all her work making Parents’ Morning Out a huge success!
