October 18, 2023SMPC Youth Members Tie in Field Hockey Matchup
Two SMPC youth members found themselves on opposing teams in their middle school field hockey games last week. Associate Pastor of Youth and Missions/Outreach Lindsey Odom was at the game cheering for both teams. The game ended in a tie, and our SMPC athletes played amazingly well. Congratulations to you both, and we wish all of our youth and children the best of luck as they finish up the fall sports season!
Rain or Shine Mom’s Group Enjoys Study and Refreshments
The Rain or Shine Mom’s Group met last Thursday night for lessons, fellowship and refreshments. They’ve been studying Seamless by Angie Smith.
Gathering in Grace: A Remarkable Sunday of Service and Joy
On Sunday, October 8, we welcomed Pastor Actionnel Fleurisma, founder of OFCB, who shared his excitement about student sponsorships in Bayonnais, Haiti. We also heard some joyful music from our Chancel and Jubilate (Youth) Choir. After worship, we stayed for fellowship and food at our BBQ on the Grounds. The weather was perfect!
